Quasi-classical Hawking Temperatures and Black Hole Thermodynamics

چکیده
The semi-classical derivation of Hawking radiation for axially symmetric, stationary spacetimes with a Killing horizon is examined following the recent quasi-classical tunneling analysis [1] and a simple formula is found for the inverse Hawking temperature β = 1/TH . The formula is invariant under canonical transformations and is shown to be equivalent to the integral of a closed differential 1-form around the horizon enclosing a pole. The Hawking temperature is then given in terms of the winding number in the first homotopy group of the torus formed from the compactified imaginary parts of the analytically continued radial and time variables.

Four Quantum Conservation Laws for Black Hole Stationary Equilibrium Radiation Processes
The classical first law of thermodynamics for a Kerr-Newman black hole (KNBH) is generalized to a law in quantum form on the event horizon. Then four quantum conservation laws on the KNBH equilibrium radiation process are derived. The Bekenstein-Hawking relation S = A/4 is exactly established. It can be inferred that the classical entropy of black hole arises from the quantum entropy of field q...
متن کاملGeneralized Laws of Black Hole Thermodynamics and Quantum Conservation Laws on Hawking Radiation Process
Four classical laws of black hole thermodynamics are extended from exterior (event) horizon to interior (Cauchy) horizon. Especially, the first law of classical thermodynamics for Kerr-Newman black hole (KNBH) is generalized to those in quantum form. Then five quantum conservation laws on the KNBH evaporation effect are derived in virtue of thermodynamical equilibrium conditions. As a by-produc...

The Hawking radiation forms the essential basis of the black hole thermodynamics. The black hole thermodynamics denotes a nice correspondence between black hole kinematics and the laws of ordinary thermodynamics, but has been so far considered only in an asymptotically flat case. Does such the correspondence rely strongly on the feature of the gravity vanishing at the infinity? In order to reso...

We establish a state of stopping the Hawking radiation by quantum Schwarzschild black hole in the framework of quasi-classical thermal quantization for particles behind the horizon. The mechanism of absorption and radiation by the black hole is presented.
متن کاملThe Thermodynamics of Black Holes
We review the present status of black hole thermodynamics. Our review includes discussion of classical black hole thermodynamics, Hawking radiation from black holes, the generalized second law, and the issue of entropy bounds. A brief survey also is given of approaches to the calculation of black hole entropy. We conclude with a discussion of some unresolved open issues.
